History of Apex Husain Group
The history of Apex Husain Group traces back to 1954 when Mr. Mosharraf Husain embarked on his industrial journey by establishing East Pakistan Rubber Industry in Tejgaon Industrial Area, Dhaka. Over time, the conglomerate expanded and now consists of nine business units focused on rubber-related products, showcasing a wide diversification.
Under Mr. Mosharraf Husain’s leadership, Apex Foam Industry was established, producing high-quality PU Foam under the renowned brand name “APEX FOAM” and also introduced the “SLEEP TIME” bedding product line, including pillows and cushions. In 1996, East Asian Cox. (Pvt.) Ltd. was founded AND established the popular brand “HUSAIN TYRES” and “TOURINO TYRES”.
After the passing of Mr. Mosharraf Husain in 1997, his son Mr. Moazzem Husain took the helm and continued the industrial legacy. The group further expanded with the establishment of Apex Polymer Corporation Ltd., manufacturing automotive tubes and inner tube valves.
Active Distribution Limited was established to address environmental concerns by recycling rubber products into reclaimed rubber under the brand name “NATURETECH.” Additionally, Apex Technology Limited entered the computer accessories and electronic products market, launching its own brand “STANZA” and introducing the world-famous INTEX brand.
