Over the years, the group ventured into electronic media with Impress Telefilm Limited in 1996, pharmaceuticals with Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited in 1999, and publishing with Ananda Alo Ltd in 2008.

In 2009, Impress Group acquired Newtex Ltd and formed Impress-Newtex Composite Textiles Ltd (INCTL).
